I’m very pleased to share the news that my work is now on display at Netherbyres House, in their beautiful Grand Hall Gallery.
Several months ago I was approached by Sarah & Mike, the owners and creative brains behind Netherbyres House – a brand new wedding venue in Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders. While it is primarily a wedding venue, the 250-year old house also has its own stylish event spaces, bar, and gallery, along with beautiful grounds and even a walled garden.
When I visited shortly after, I was blown away by the scale of the building, the boldness of the truly stunning and quirky interiors (all the product of Sarah and Mikes restoration efforts, of course), and the grandeur of the rooms, which all complimented the dramatic Victorian architecture perfectly. The Grand Hall Gallery was a particular highlight, with natural light flowing in through beautiful stained glass. In short, the perfect place to exhibit works of art and a wonderful opportunity for any artist.
I quickly began putting together a selection of my work, drawing mainly on some of my earlier pieces. I’m very pleased with the end result and even more pleased that Sarah and Mike were as well.
The works will be on display throughout this upcoming wedding season. And if you haven’t already, please make sure to check out Netherbyers House, if only to appreciate just how stunning and unique this place really is.
All the pieces currently exhibited at Netherbyres House, shown in the gallery below, are available for purchase.
